Happy Groundlion’s Day from Gustavus! Posted on February 4th, 2010 by

This week, many people in cool climates looked to the groundhog to tell us how much longer the cold and snow would last.  This was especially true in the Midwest where many people are beginning to experience the phenomenon known as “cabin fever.”  At Gustavus Adolphus College, we Gusties looked not to the groundhog, rather to the groundlion in hope of a quick end to the cold winds that blow across campus!

If you are well connected to Gustavus, you may have received an email from Gus, the groundlion, predicting whether or not we will endure 6 more weeks of winter!  Click here to view his greeting! If you did not receive the email and wish to be more connected to Gustavus, please see the ways you may do so listed below.

Warm wishes to all of you in these last weeks of winter!
